The Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) is a trade association with over 2,300 tree care firms and affiliated companies. Established in 1938 as the National Arborist Association, TCIA plays a crucial role in developing safety and education programs, tree care practice standards, and management information for tree and landscape firms globally. Through offering continuing education, training, conferences, and publications, TCIA aims to foster the safe and proper practice of tree care within the industry.

TCIA's mission extends to assisting member companies by educating consumers on tree care best practices, enhancing professionalism in the tree care sector, optimizing business practices within the industry, training employees on safe work practices, and engaging with policymakers on regulatory and legislative matters.
